BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Stefan Gehrmann is the Programme Manager for Hydrogen at DVGW, the German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water. He leads projects focused on hydrogen and CO₂ infrastructure, supporting Germany’s energy transition and addressing key technical and regulatory challenges for transport networks.

Stefan previously spent a decade in R&D at thyssenkrupp Uhde, advancing chemical plant engineering and carbon utilisation technologies. His expertise spans process optimisation, infrastructure planning, and innovations in hydrogen and CO₂ systems for industrial and energy applications.
