BIOGRAPHY

Travis Hallam, Three Affiliated Tribes Pipeline Authority for the Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation in North Dakota.

I worked at a Process Facility in Beulah ND from 1984 to 2014.  One of my duties was being the CO₂ Pipeline Emergency Response Coordinator/Instructor for the first responders along the pipeline corridor that went to the Border with Canada.

In 2014 I was asked to work for our tribe, which was being significantly impacted by unregulated gathering pipelines. My position was created and with the support of our Tribal Leadership, we created our MHA Pipeline Code. The end result was the most successful Pipeline Program in the Nation, which took over 1,300,000 gallons of released products down to zero, with compliant pipelines.
